Description:

An epoxy resin based, double component solvent free floor coating material with smooth surface. It becomes a self-leveling material when mixed with quartz aggregate, as the third component. 

Uses:

·         Indoor,

·         Horizontal applications,

·         Hospitals and all kinds of hygienic environments,

·         Cheese, milk, wine, beverage, meat, fish and similar food industries,

·         Medicine, dyestuff, paper, accumulator and fertilizer industries,

·         Printing houses, laundries, industrial kitchens and dining halls,

·         Places such as shopping malls, terminals that are exposed to heavy pedestrian traffic,

·         Data processing and control centers,

·         Parking garages,

·         Airplane maintenance hangars.

Application:

The application surface must be clear of weakly bonded parts and materials which prevent bonding, such as dust, oil, tar, bitumen, paint, curing agents, mold release oils and silicone. The surface must be dry and rough for strong bonding.

If the surface is concrete, it must be cured at least 28 days ago. The floor concrete must be maximum 4% moist.

The surface must be primed with TURKQUA EPOXY PRIMAIRE before the application.

The components of TURKQUA EPOXY COUCHE are packaged in proportionately. 4 kg of component B (hardener) is added to 16 kg of component A (epoxy resin) and they are mixed for at least 3 - 4 minutes with a drill with mixer bit of 300 - 400 rpm until a homogenous consistency is obtained.

In case only a portion of the product will be used, pay attention to mix the components proportionately.

If the surface where the product will be applied is not smooth or if self- leveling coating is required, the product  must be mixed for another 3 - 5 minutes after component C is added to obtain a self- leveling coating.
